Seychelles ETA Requirements 2026: Required Documents & Eligibility
Check if you are required to apply, gather your documents and find out what to present at the border before submitting your ETA application.
Who Must Apply for the Seychelles ETA?
Every foreign national arriving at Mahé (SEZ) or by cruise ship, yacht or private vessel must hold a valid ETA before boarding.
Each minor must have their own individual ETA. There is no group or family ETA.
Citizens travelling on a Seychellois passport are exempt from the ETA.
Permanent residents are exempt provided they present their valid residence permit at the border.
Holders of Kosovo passports are not permitted to enter Seychelles. An ETA cannot be issued to them.
Eligible nationalities

Documents Required for Your Application.

Official Seychelles ETA portal interface
Valid passport
You must provide a scan or photo of your passport's biographical page. Required information includes passport number, full name, date of birth, nationality and expiry date. Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Seychelles.
Passport photo
A clear digital photograph is required — white background, clear face. A portrait or selfie is acceptable if using the mobile app. The system uses this photo to auto-fill your personal details.
Travel booking confirmation
You must provide an airline ticket or cruise booking confirmation showing your arrival and departure dates from Seychelles. A return or onward ticket is mandatory.
Accommodation confirmation
A hotel reservation or invitation letter is required. This must include the full address of your accommodation in Seychelles — a name alone is not sufficient.
Contact details
A valid email address is mandatory to receive your ETA confirmation. You must also provide a phone number with the international country code.
Health declaration
Completed within the online form. You must also upload a yellow fever vaccination certificate if arriving from or transiting through a yellow fever risk country.
Customs declaration
Also completed within the online form. This is a standard customs goods declaration, mandatory for all travellers entering Seychelles.

A credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) is required. The total price through our service is 119 EUR, including 11 EUR in government fees and 108 EUR in processing and verification fees.
What to Present at the Border.
Approved ETA
Your approved ETA must be presented at the border — digitally on your phone or as a printed copy. Without it, entry may be refused or a penalty fee imposed.
Valid passport
You must present the exact same passport used in your ETA application. It must remain valid for your full stay.
Return or onward ticket
Immigration officers may verify your confirmed onward travel. Have your return ticket ready to show them.
Accommodation details
Officers may request your hotel address or host details. Keep your booking confirmation easily accessible.
Proof of sufficient funds
You must show evidence that you can financially support yourself during your stay. No fixed amount is specified by Seychelles immigration.
Yellow fever certificate
Required if arriving from or transiting through a yellow fever risk country. Keep this document with your passport.
